FREE NOW & CALM
Taxi company FREE NOW and CALM (the Campaign Against Living Miserably) partnered up to elevate our small talk to real talk. FREE NOW recognised that taxi drivers were “unofficial therapists” because many passengers would find it easier to express themselves to a “stranger”. Thus the campaign was aimed at improving our conversation skills (notably listening), as well as supporting drivers who were containing the anxiety of their passengers without necessarily having the support or training to do so.
-
Expert comment and Q&A on communication skills, active listening, supporting emotional labourers.
-
Series of media broadcasts alongside one of the Free Now drivers.
-
As this campaign also put into practice recommendations from Audrey’s PhD thesis, Audrey also released her own blogs and articles celebrating this initiative.
